Terms and Conditions

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is up to date with vaccinations, flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments. Also owners must provide the relevant and up to date vet contact information. Failure to do so many require your pet, in an emergency, to be taken to a different vet. Owners are fully responsible for all vet charges.

The owner accepts full liability for the loss or damages caused by their dog on a dog walk or whilst being dog sat. The dog walker is not held accountable for vet fees or third-party claims whilst you dog is under our care. The owner is to make full disclosure of the characteristic problems that their dog has which may make their dog not suitable for dog walking or sitting including aggression, health problems, lack of house training, excessive loud barking/whining and antisocial behaviour.

The Club Fido team will make an effort to contact the dog’s owner in the case of an emergency so it is asked and recommended that the owner provides emergency contact numbers and a trusted third party should we not be able to make contact.

We reserve the right to make decision regarding your dog’s health provided it is for the dog’s best interest and on the advice of a veterinary. Owner is responsible for the payment of any veterinary fees incurred by the dog walker.

We would like to remind customers that payments are due at the end of each working week or on final working day of that week (Friday). Owners are also aware that the walk time start’s when the dog walker arrives and is the time from then to returning. This means that transit in-between homes and fields are included in the time paid for.

The Club Fido team will do its best to make sure your pet and any equipment (i.e leads and harnesses) will come back clean, however please be aware this may not always be possible. If any damage occurs to any equipment you have provided, owners are fully responsible unless it is the fault of Club Fido, in which Club Fido will provide a replacement or cash value. ClubFido are not insured for AirTags/trackers or any other electric devices. Our very own ClubFido AirTags can be used on the walks at your request.

Charges

(Walking) The charges for walking are advertised on our service page. Please visit our service page on our website to fully view them. Our rates are competitive and are not negotiable.

(Sitting) Charges are done per day (not night). This applies for when the dog sitter arrives to when they leave for example Monday to Monday will count as an eight day stay.

(Invoicing) We will always give at least 6 days notice of a price increase. We keep an accurate record of our customers bookings. We can email customers their account balances. Invoices will be aimed to be sent on a Friday and payment is due on the following Monday. Receipts will only be sent if requested by the customer.

Flexibility is required.

1. We are fully insured to walk all dogs. Whilst every effort is made to make the walks one-to-one, most of the time your dog will be walked with other friendly dogs

2. The booked time is an estimate only. We make every effort to arrive on the time given, however depending on road condition and unforeseen circumstances we ask for approximately 30 minutes after your booked time slot for the dog walker to attend. In adverse weather conditions we are still open but do understand that we may be delayed. The time of the walks also begin when the dog walker arrives at the property and furthermore special requests to the dog walker will take extra time to carry out. This results in the time spent walking the dog to be around 20-25 minutes or 45-50 minutes.
